Upcoming Pastorate Plan Announcement April 11 & 12As we continue our Lenten journey of prayer and renewal, we share an important update on the Journey in Faith process across the Archdiocese of Dubuque. Over many months, priests, deacons, and parish leaders have prayerfully discerned how to strengthen parish life and pastoral care for the future.
A new pastorate plan has been finalized to guide parish collaboration and priest assignments. Key principles include a consistent weekend Mass schedule with no rotations and limiting priests to three Masses each weekend so they can better serve their communities.
The full pastorate structure and priest assignments will be announced on April 11, with details available online. That weekend, April 11 and 12, pastors will share how this plan will impact each parish.
