In these sacred days, we walk with Jesus Christ through the mystery at the heart of our faith. From the Last Supper on Holy Thursday, to the sacrifice of the Cross on Good Friday, to the glory of the Resurrection at the Easter Vigil, the Triduum is not just something we remember. It is something we enter into.
This is the week that changes everything. It is where love is poured out, sin is defeated, and hope is restored.
We invite you and your family to join us for our Holy Week liturgies. Come and experience the beauty, the silence, the sorrow, and the joy of these sacred days. There is no more important place to be.
Upcoming Pastorate Plan Announcement April 11 & 12
As we continue our Lenten journey of prayer and renewal, we share an important update on the Journey in Faith process across the Archdiocese of Dubuque. Over many months, priests, deacons, and parish leaders have prayerfully discerned how to strengthen parish life and pastoral care for the future.
A new pastorate plan has been finalized to guide parish collaboration and priest assignments. Key principles include a consistent weekend Mass schedule with no rotations and limiting priests to three Masses each weekend so they can better serve their communities.
The full pastorate structure and priest assignments will be announced on April 11, with details available online. That weekend, April 11 and 12, pastors will share how this plan will impact each parish.
This process has been guided by prayer and a desire to keep our parishes strong. Thank you for your faith and prayers as we move forward together.
